Valley of the Gods, Utah, Wednesday May 18th 2005.

One of the numerous vertical rock formations in the valley, showing the different layers of stone, and erosion.

Valley of the Gods is a small place along a 17 miles dirt road in Utah, looking like a small Monument Valley. It's not a park and is not as well-known as the other places, but it's equally beautiful. It's just North of Mexican Hat and in sight of Monument Valley. The road is not drivable in case of rain, but when the weather is dry, it's very nice. The place is secluded with nothing around, no camping, no horses, no cabins, so it really feels like the Far West.
